All chiefs/directors or managers have the delegated responsibility of HR administration, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), and payroll play. Their job responsibilities include the following:
Internal database:
They are responsible for organizing and maintaining personal records and information. They also update the internal database of employees.
Managing payroll:
They are responsible for maintaining the payroll based on updated databases like sick leaves, maternity leaves, rewards, and benefits.
Maintain HRIS:
They maintain an internal database, and support network, and facilitate in installation, development, and customization of organizational HRIS systems.
Reporting:
They collect reports and document queries related to human resource management, HRIS functioning, HR-related technology, and improvement in HR-related systems and software.
